Unite Students appoints new Group People Director

- Jessica Gallop joins Unite Students from November and will sit on the executive team
- She returns to the business, where she started her career
- She has a wealth of experience working in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) sector, most recently at Student Roost
Unite Students, the UK’s largest provider of student accommodation, today announces that it has appointed Jessica Gallop as Group People Director.
Jessica joins Unite Students in November 2023, and brings a wealth of experience working in the PBSA sector. She’s spent 22 years in the industry, including starting her career at Unite Students with roles spanning customer services, operations and HR.
Jessica will become a key member of the Unite Group executive team, working alongside Joe Lister who becomes Chief Executive on 1st January 2024, Chief Financial Officer Michael Burt, and Chief Customer Officer Karan Khana. Her appointment reflects Unite Students’ commitment to being a great place to work and live.
